Union Station

Located just two blocks from the country's tallest building, the Sears Tower, Chicago's Union Station has a history stretching back to the early twentieth century when trains were the premier way to travel.  Many legendary marquee trains departed from this colossal station including the legendary Broadway Limited, which provided overnight service direct to Penn Station in New York City.  Union Station was truly a crossroads depot, located in the central states, serving travellers to all points on the compass.  It is still a hub of transportation for Chicago's suburban and intercity travellers.
