All American Recycling’s “Save The Cans” Campaign Comes to Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm to Benefit Pink Heals Joliet WHAT: Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm and Chicago’s All American Recycling come together to “Save the Cans”, an aluminum can recycling campaign to raise money for Pink Heals Joliet ( Bring your bag of 10 aluminum cans to the Farm and receive $5 OFF Admission to Pumpkin Fest, and enjoy “Affordable Fun on the Farm™”. Our goal is to fill the recycling All American’s pink trailers to the brim, collecting 10,000lbs of aluminum. 100% of proceeds will go to Pink Heals Joliet and help individuals in need, receiving treatment for cancer, in our community. WHEN: Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, 2017 10:00a.m.-6:00 p.m. WHERE: Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm, 17250 S. For the past five years, the company’s “Save the Cans” aluminum can recycling campaign has raised thousands for Pink Heals Joliet and cancer awareness. “Save the Cans” brings awareness to cancer, and those in their battle, while encouraging everyone in the community to contribute to a cleaner environment by keeping harmful aluminum cans out of landfills. For more than 100 years and four generations, Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm in Lockport, IL has been the place where memories are created. Today, it is still a working farm run by Paul Siegel, third generation, and is a destination for family fun, corporate events, weddings and benefits grew. The Siegel’s swapped livestock for Pumpkin Fest - kid-friendly attractions, their famous extra sweet sweet corn, Grandpa’s secret recipe kettle corn – Statesville Haunted Prison, voted one of the scariest haunted houses in the country, a nationally-recognized corn maze and, now, one of the most desired wedding locations in Illinois. Pink Heals Joliet brings the community together to rally around someone who is ill and having a hard time. Through personal visits, local volunteer fireman, police, community leaders and volunteers visit people who are ill in their community and having a difficult time, bringing them food, love, or support. Pink Heels is one of the fastest growing community organizations in the world, the organization teams up with the community’s local police and fire departments, show up with lights and sirens, and deliver flowers, inspiration, support, love and sometimes financial help to those in need.
